By accessing or using our website https://knotyouraveragegrain.com and purchasing products or services from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. These Terms govern your use of our Site, and any transactions related to woodworking products, services, and custom orders.

1. Use of the Site
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations. You agree not to:

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Site through hacking, password mining, or any other means.

We offer a variety of woodworking products, including but not limited to custom furniture, cabinetry, home decor, and other wood-based items. All products and services are subject to availability and may change without notice.
Custom Orders: If you place a custom woodworking order, you agree to provide accurate details regarding the specifications, materials, and any other relevant information needed to fulfill the order. We may require approval of a design or quote before proceeding.
Product Descriptions and Pricing: We strive to ensure that all product descriptions and pricing on our Site are accurate. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information. Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.
3. Orders and Payments
When you place an order through our Site, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including your name, billing address, and payment details. By submitting an order, you authorize us to charge the full amount of the order to the payment method you provide.
Order Acceptance: Orders placed through our Site are considered offers to purchase products. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason.
Payment Processing: We use third-party payment processors to handle payments. By providing your payment details, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the payment processor. We are not responsible for any issues related to payment processing.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping Policies: We will make every reasonable effort to process and ship your order promptly. Delivery times vary based on the product and shipping method. Shipping costs will be calculated during checkout.
Shipping Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party shipping carriers, customs processing, or any other external factors beyond our control.
International Orders: For international shipments, the recipient is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or other fees that may apply.
5. Returns and Refunds
Overview
Knot Your Average Grain ("KYAG") creates made-to-order, personalized products. Because most items are custom engraved or built to customer specifications, returns and refunds are limited as outlined below.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Order changes (design details, spelling, dates, rank/unit info, etc.) must be requested as soon as possible after placing your order.
Once production begins, we may be unable to make changes.
If you need to cancel an order, contact us immediately. If work has already started, a cancellation may not be possible and may only qualify for a partial refund.
Returns (Custom / Personalized Items)
All personalized and custom-made items are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund due to the nature of engraving and custom production.
Returns (Non-Custom Items)
If an item is not personalized (rare for KYAG), it may be eligible for return on a case-by-case basis.
To request a return, contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Items must be unused and in original packaging.
Shipping costs are not refundable.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or different from what was approved/ordered:
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos of:
The item
The packaging (including any damage)
The shipping label
· We will review and, when appropriate, offer a repair, replacement, or remake.
Incorrect Address
Address changes must be handled before your order ships.
No returns are accepted for change-of-address requests once an item has shipped.
Once your item has shipped, we can no longer make changes to the order or shipping address.
Please contact the shipping carrier with your tracking information.
If a package is delivered to the wrong address due to an address change request that was not confirmed by email, before shipping, a refund cannot be given.
How to request an address change
Email us your address change request before shipping takes place.
An address change is only guaranteed if you receive a return email from our team confirming the change.
If you do not receive confirmation, the order will ship to the original address provided at checkout.
Refused / Undeliverable Packages
If a package is returned to us as undeliverable (e.g., incorrect address, incomplete address, refused delivery):
We can reship the item once the correct address is confirmed.

Custom Designs: Any custom woodworking designs you request are the property of Knot Your Average Grain unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. You may not replicate or distribute custom designs without our permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knot Your Average Grain is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Site, products, or services. This includes any damages to your device or loss of data, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
